My name is Daniel and I am a friend of Marc Schmidt. He sent me the link to your blog as I will be going to China in two weeks. I was hoping to get some advice as to what to see and where to eat, food is important, street food being the most sought after.
I am arriving in Beijing with Nathalie on the 21 Sept. We will stay in Beijing until the 24 or 25 Sept. Then we go to Guilin for a 6 day walking tour in Guangxi/Guizhou. Then we have five days before flying out of Shanghai back to Montreal.
Advice for Beijing and Shanghai would be greatly appreciated as would advice on what to do with the few days between the walking trip and our return flight.
Hangzhou and Suzhou have been recommended as places to visit.
